Ah, the perks of being a seventh year. At the top of the school, basically a leader. It is completely up to you to set an example, whether good or bad. Anyways, smartly located on the seventh floor, this balcony over looks all of the staircases and has a study room as well. On "First Year Friday", seventh years have the option of coming to the balcony and playing tricks. Don't worry, though. The tricks won't be too bad, because the staff always monitor the area on this certain day.

The Quidditch pitch is a grassy oval field, 500 feet long by 180 feet wide. There is a small circle in the center of the field where the balls are released. Three 50-foot-tall poles with hoops on them stand at either end as goals. There is a scoring area marked off at each end, around the area of the hoops.

The Lake is on the south side of the Hogwarts Castle. The lake is approximately a half-mile in diameter and the home to various creatures.

The Forbidden Forest became not so much forbidden as times crept up on it. It wasn't as dark as it used to be. So, to restore some adventure and adrenaline once more, Elvish men and woman added their own twist to it. The trees are much taller than what it once was, and it is extremely dark during both day and night.

There is a wide flat lawn opposite the castle from the forest and Hagrid's hut where the First Years took their first flying lesson. The sloping lawns lead down toward the forest and border the lake. Come to the lawns to have a picnic or hang out, play some muggle sports if you want to as well!

Though not as well known as Gringotts, TBoL focuses on it's buyer's comfort and opinions than just their money. The vaults are stored in a towering tree, inside the trunk. The tree is very agressive, and if someone tries to break into a vault, it has millions of branches to battle.
