Amber was writing down the instructions of the next potion the class were learning on the board when she was waiting for everybody to arrive. Flying Potion 1. Set flames to medium 2. Add 5 flies. 3. sprinkle 10 feathers of a duck powder, slowly. 4. Mix Anticlockwise 5 times and clockwise 3 times. 5. Wait 5 minutes. 6. When waiting cut up vanilla beans into even pieces. They each should be about 3 centermetres long. 7. Add 5 more flies. 8. Mix for about 7 minutes. 9. Add 5 turkey feathers, 1 at a time, and slowly. 10. Mix for 2 more minutes.
The potion should go light blue, and smell like vanilla. When Amber finished she turned around and looked at the class. "Today, we will make a flying potion. When you take this, it will make you fly...of course, you wouldn't need a broom. The more of it you take, the higher and longer you will stay up in the sky. I would like you all to make this potion. I will give you 45 minutes and the last 15 minutes of the lesson, I want to talk to you about...something, so please start making it." ((TIP: If you make a minumim of 3 paragraphs (3-5 sentences), you will get an extra 5 points. This goes for every lesson. If your post is, like, 6 paragraphs long, I might think about giving you more points, so go into detail! and be creative!...and have fun! Also, on Thursday or Friday, I will post the next part of this lesson where Amber wants to talk to the class about somehting, so please, keep an eye out.))

Melody entered class feeling a bit scared. She didn't want a repeat of what had happened in te last potion class. Oh no! They were making another potion. She decided that this time she would really focus hard on what she had to do.
She walked up to Amber's desk, "Hi Amber!" She said trying to sound confident, about coming to potions class again, but failed miserably. She slowly walked over to an empty desk. She got out her ink pot, and her quill, and paper. She put the quill in the ink pot, and started to write. The only problem was that her quill snapped in the middle, sending a big long line of ink all across her page.
She quickly got out her spare quill, and a new piece of paper, she put less pressure on the quill this time and wrote down the instructions. After writing them down she went over them, to make sure that they were correct. Once she was sure they were correct, she got ready to make the potion.
She was very careful, she set the flames to medium, and double checked that it was on medium. Then picked up five flies, EXACTLY five flies, and put them in. She then sprinkled ten feathers of duck powder in slowly. Then got ready to mix it clockwise, but quickly realised that it was anticlockwise. She stirred it anticlockwise five times, and clockwise three. There we go the first half done!
She sat back and congratulated herself, then chopped up the vanilla beans into pieces about three centimetres long, then after five minutes dumped them in the cauldron. She then picked up her least favourite ingredient again, the flies, and put five of them in. Then she mixed for 7 minutes.
At te end of those seven minutes her arm felt as though it would drop off at any moment! She then picked up the turkey feathers, and made sure she only picked up five, and put them beside her, and put them in one at a time, slowly. She then, although her arm complained bitterly, mixed for two more minutes. She sighed with relief outloud. She had finally finished and it hadn't blown up in her face! She was delighted.
She then went up to Ambers desk and asked what she did next.

Amber smiled at Melody as she entred and greeted her. She waited for everybody to do their potions and finish them. Then, Melody came up to ask her what to do. Amber sighed, she stood up and announced to the whole class. "Alright, I will say this only in this lesson only, if you fail to listen, too bad, because I will not repeat it again. If you have finished your potion, you put it into a small vile and hand it to me. In other lessons, you are allowed to leave early or do whatever you want before class ends. But, in this lesson right now, there is only fifteen minutes left, and I want to discusse something with you." Amber sighed, "I will give you one more minute if you have not finished the potion." Amber sat down, hoping, that nobody would ask her that question ever again.
After that short 60 seconds, Amber stood up again. "Today, for the last fifteen minutes, I want to discuss with you about potion ingrediants. I first want people to answer this question, 'Where can we find potion ingrediants?' Anybody know or have any suggestions?"
(If nobody posts any answers to this or anything, I might have to think about not doing the fun lesson, next lesson)

Melody listened ot what she had to do next, then went to her cauldron and poured the liquid into the vile. Once it was in she went and gave it to Amber. Then Amber asked a question, 'Where can we find potion ingredients?' that was quite an easy question for Melody. She stood up and said 'ummm... you can find potion ingredients in..." oh Darn! Now she had forgotten teh word. "Is it apothecary???" she honestly couldn't remember, she knew that there was something like a potion ingredients shop, and it had a special name. Boy! She got stupider by the second!

Amber smiled at Melody, "yes, one place to find potion ingrediants is an Apothecary, but what I would really like to know is the exact place you can find them. For example, acromantula venom is found in an acromantula, and an acromantula can be found in the forbidden forest, so a place where you can also find ingrediants is a forest, anywhere else where you can find potion ingrediants?" Amber asked, she took a piece of paper, and decided to take notes, in case somebody said a place she wouldn't have thought of.

(your still allowed to post in this lesson, until Monday, so, Laura, get your butt into potions class! I don't care if you're too stuffed to post, you can post one paragraph if you like, but you won't get any extra points).
