As I posted on Our Hogwarts, I wanted six houses instead of four. The reason is simple. To be more original, and to have a character's personality be more revealed, for the houses are more specific according to personality. Here is what I was thinking the houses should be, but it isn't a total chance that these will be the ones. Please, if you have an idea for a house, please let me know. And, also, I won't accept any evil houses (Mordor, Isengard, etc.), because even though there might be some people who wish to be evil, others may not and still get sorted into the house. It would be an insult, really.
Gondor - The people of Gondor are brave, grim, and very valiant. Almost like Gryffindors, really, but like all men, they can be very easily corrupted. They are indeed very ambitious, like Slytherins as well. In battle, the Gondorians rely on strength and skill at hand to hand combat. They are feared when wielding swords, due to their perfection-like skill with a blade. They share a friendly rivalry with Rohan, and ally with them sometimes. Gondorians share an interest with the Shire, and ally with them if they are in need.
Rohan - The people of Rohan tend to be extremely loyal, and sometimes not very trusting of any countries beside their own. They can also be easily corrupted. In battle, they are known for their speed and quick minds. When on horseback, they easily crush their enemies. Everyone in this house comes together to destroy an enemy, and if one of their fellows is in help, the whole army swarms to the rescue. They share a very friendly rivalry with Gondor, and ally with them sometimes. Being extremely loyal people, they ally with Lothlorien a great deal.
Mirkwood - The elves of Mirkwood are very mysterious and very defensive. They barely trust anyone, but thrive for knowledge as most elves do. In battle, Mirkwood elves prefer range and ambushes to secure their enemies. However, when forced to fight hand to hand in broad daylight, they are very much like the Lothlorien elves, as they rely on knowledge and agility. They bear a huge rivalry with Moria, and sometimes Lothlorien. Mirkwood will band together with Lothlorien when in a tough spot with Moria.
Shire - The folks of the Shire are extremely humble, content with life, and are by no means extreme risk takers. They can be very competitive, as most people tend to be. In battle (if they ever battle), they rely on instincts more than anything else. They tend to be frightened most of the time and are completely underestimated in battle, but little do other houses know how fierce and deadly they can become when provoked. They are teased by almost every house, and have no rivalries due to their calming and easily-pleased personalities. They defend almost every house, but have a particular interest in Gondor, Lothlorien, and Mirkwood.
Lothlorien - The people of Lorien are extremely intelligent and mysterious. They are never trusting of other houses, and tend to keep to themselves. In battle, the Lorien soldiers are extremely agile, but do not conceal that much strength. They lean on intelligence of war during a battle, and use sneaky tricks and moves to subdue their enemies. They have a huge rivalry with Moria, but also quarrel with Mirkwood at times. They have been known to ally themselves with Mirkwood when against Moria.
Moria - The people of Moria are seclusive, but very hard working. They have huge rivalries with Lothlorien and Mirkwood, and are usually very selfish. If they were in battle, they would find a way to defeat their enemies, but if the battle is not turning their way, they would save themselves at all costs. They are feared for their brute strength, but are known for their bravery as well. They are stronger than the Gondorians, but never as intelligent as the elves.
So, please reply. I was thinking of adding or replacing a country with Rivendell, but it might be too much.
